Shipping Policy
USPS
- For orders less than three pounds the United States Postal Service (USPS) is the economical way to ship.
- Same day shipping if order is placed before noon central standard time (CST).
UPS
- We ship via United Parcel Service ground (UPS) for orders weighing between 3-70 pounds and multiple boxes.
- We ship same day if UPS orders are placed before noon (CST).
- UPS picks up from us at about 1:00 pm daily. So if you can place your order before noon we can usually get it out on the same day. Any orders placed after noon will go out the following business day.
Motor Freight
- For orders with heavy items we ship motor freight, usually the next day.
- Customers will receive a freight quote and confirmation is needed.
- Payment is required before orders are shipped.
- Upon receiving your merchandise, note on the Bill of Lading if any of the merchandise is damaged or missing and then notify PSC of the issue so that a claim can be made.
- Motor Freight shipments can usually be boxed, palleted, wrapped and picked up by our freight companies within 2 to 3 business days.
- We can advise you on the pick up date and expected delivery date to you.
- If you are in a big rush – please let us know when you place your order.
- Some suggestions on Motor Freight Shipments: We do our best to locate and use the freight companies that treat us and you the most fairly. But, most of them will charge extra for a residential delivery (a farm or ranch address will normally be considered a residential address.) If you have a local business that you patronize (feed store, lumber yard, etc) that would receive your order for you to pick up there – it could save you up to $60 on the freight charges. Additionally, if you do not have means to unload a pallet, you may request a delivery truck with a drop tailgate – for an additional charge. Just some things we thought you should know.
Packaging
- We use recycled boxes and packaging for our orders.
International Orders
- We encourage international orders but will require payment before the order ships.
Back-Orders & Timing
- We will make every effort to ship your order out as soon as possible, but please note that due to large order volumes, weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control your order may not ship as promptly.
- Customers will be notified of back-orders either by packing slips or phone calls.
Damage to Shipments
- If you should receive a shipment that could involve product damage – please help us by taking a picture of the damaged package. This will assist us in making claims to the shipper.
