We're about: raising livestock on grass. We offer products and services that help you manage your grass and livestock for the lowest input costs and for maximum profit. Unlike most farm stores that sell fencing and watering supplies, we do not sell feed or fertilizer. We hope to help you reduce your reliance on processed feed and fertilizer!  By improving and utilizing your grass & forage resources along with an efficient fencing and watering system to move your livestock around and with-in, you can become more efficient and more profitable with rotationl or intensive grazings systems. We feel our mission is as much "educational" as it is sales driven. We test and evaluate all the products that we offer and have full confidence in their performance.

One of the "perks" of being "ol' fence guys", is having had the benefit of visiting and seeing many different livestock operations and fencing systems. Over the years, we have been involved with some of the top livestock and grazing professionals in the grazing world. We have been fortunate enough to see, first hand, what works and what doesn't. We bring this knowledge and share these experiences with our customers who want or need some help in planning and implementing their grazing programs. We want you to be successful and are always happy to use and share our experience and knowledge in helping you achieve your goals. We have not stopped learning - we learn more everyday by trial and error in trying and developing new products. As we find and discover easier or better ways to graze and  fence -without sacrificing quality - we will pass them on to you.

Why are we a little different - compared to most electric fence supply companies? Our main focus is primarily directed at GRAZING PRACTICES. It seems that most manufacturers of electric fencing products have turned their attentions towards fancy packaging and marketing, while research & development have taken a back seat. We feel very strongly that hi-tensile electric fencing teamed up with some portable electric fencing is the best management tool a grazer can utilize. We are grazers ourselves and work directly with our grazing customers - rather than through a chain of farm stores with untrained sales personnel. We encourage you to call us directly.

All of us at PowerFlex Fence own livestock of our own. We actually USE the products we offer and are continually evaluating, looking for and developing  new ideas and ways to better build and manage our fences, our livestock and our grass. Gary recalls a visit, a while back, with a customer and his wife, both of whom are teachers/educators. They were in the store and we were just "talk'n fence" - discussing all the hypotheticals - both failures and victories with electric fencing. At the end of the lengthy discussion, the wife looked at me and said  very sincerely: " you are an educator, you don't just sell fencing products here - you actually educate the customer before they buy".  To us at PowerFlex Fence, that was the ultimate compliment. At PowerFlex Fence we take our product selections very seriously. We spend time / effort and try our best to: test, evaluate, design and approve of "every" product before we offer it to you. We do in return expect YOU, our customer, to give us feedback on our products. This interaction system has worked well for us in all regards by improving product features and making them better. If and when we do have a problem with a product -- we seriously want and expect to know about it - so that actions can be taken to correct the situation.

We offer many different brands names of products and feel very strongly that no one brand is the best overall. All product lines seem to have great items along with some items that are of lesser quality. We strive to choose the best of the best. Additionally, as we see need for new product that is not currently available in the industry - we are developing our own. For example: The PowerFlex Post is a good solid product. We recognized the need for it, developed it and have been successful with its introduction. This item lends itself to being a "System" of its own. Our hi-tensile GUARDIAN woven wire is also an example of a "System" of its own. This unique wire was not available in North America until we introduced it. I guess that in summary: "We at PowerFlex Fence are not content to sit back and just peddle what is currently available". We are actively searching and developing new IDEAS on our own farms / ranches  and in the electric fencing industry. Our products are directed towards real world grazing systems rather than the farm store retail chain.
